Trying to help a friend. If a company that will remain un-named disciplined someone for 7 days sickness over 6 months (4 periods) and skip the first stages and go straight to final warning how would you appeal this? They have classed it as absence and have said in his meeting that they can go straight to final because its classed as capability!!! If anyone has any employment / legal info they want to share please inbox me. To me this looks very unfair especially when they have an exemplary disciplinary record. Thanks :)
