Turned in our notice and curriculum to Central Office today, no going back now. Im pretty excited to teach all of these except French..we are going to need a program for that..and a little disappointed that we dont get to do World History, but,flip side,I have to teach U.S. History I and II, which is pretty much the one subject I was never taught well (sports coaches posing as history teachers) so it will interesting for me as well. Combined list looks like this: U.S. History I and II Earth Science LIfe Science Advanced Math 6/PreAlgebra Algebra I Language Arts French I Latin I part A Physical Education/Health Music Visual and Performing Arts Family and Consumer Sciences (Home Economics) Sure..no sweat :) I am, all joking aside,really looking forward to the school year being addressed as Hey! Teacher Mommy! And seeing how much more than can get from these subjects without the distractions and constrains and authority of Public Education.
