Twenty five years ago today I walked through the gates at Sunderland Road depot to begin training as a bus driver. I passed and went to work at the same depot that my father had done as a conductor and an output clerk. As I remember those years there are many memories of people who were special, some of whom are no longer with us. I have worked with some inspirational people at all levels and thank each and everyone of them for the influence they have had on my career path. Those 25 years have flown and during them I have lived through some of the best moments and some of the worst that life can throw at me and Im still here and still smiling. That career has brought me a new life and new friends with a woman who never ceases to make me feel special on a daily basis. Heres to the next 25!
