Twenty-four years ago today at 11:30pm I had a car accident that should have ended my life! NO ONE (the 2 Truckers that stopped to assist me & called the police, the police, my friend DeAnn that came to get me, the tow truck driver...) who saw the Ford Festiva that I flipped and rolled several times landing upside down said I should have walked away alive! God did not stop the crash but He did save my life! I had NO injury! NOT ONE!! After my grandfather (the most important parental figure only followed closely by my grandmother) died in April 1992 I denounced my belief in God, and gave no real care for much of anything except completing my masters degree...for TWO full years I did not care what happened to me and my choices reflected as much. On July 6, 1992 after spending an entire weekend with Andrews University Alums my heart began to soften as I heard story after story of Gods hand in the lives of my friends...life saving/soul saving stories: REAL LIFE / REAL TALK!! During my 12 hour drive home I had a long talk with God. I gave my heart back to Him. I began to share my heart. I was about 30 min from my front door when I flipped my car. This was the first of many attempts by the enemy to end my life via car accident. Thank you Lord for saving my life and for allowing me to see another anniversary!
