Two Tripura Child Rapists Held in Chennai Police on Wednesday arrested two child rapists from Tripura who were hiding out in Chennai by posing as security guards. Contacted by the Tripura police about the absconding suspects, police commissioner S George asked Central Crime Branch sleuths to form a team to find out if they had taken refuge in the city. CCB officers found that two men from the northeast, who came to Chennai recently, had taken a house on rent in Taramani. We confirmed that they were the men on the run from the Tripura police, an investigating officer said. ~NET
