REAL SENSORY PROSTHETICS (RSPs) Create artificial limbs that weigh the same as real limbs and with a feedback loop that would convince the wearer his legs were real. (A natural part of his body. Not with artificial nerve endings, but that just felt like a natural and properly weighted appendage, as if they were supposed to be there.) 52. EXTRA (or, ENHANCED) SENSORY PROSTHETICS (ESPs) Prosthetics that are not only capable of presenting sensation to the wearer as if they were actual enervated limbs but that are capable of presenting additional and extra or enhanced sensory perceptions ill beyond the range of normal human sensory capabilities. For instance arms that can “see in the dark” and legs that can “hear through the ground.”
