Two things about summer I would like to go away (and surprisingly the heat is not one of them!) 1. Lizards. My kids are OBSESSED. They have caught a bazillion, asked to keep almost all of them. I caved on three of them. Guess how many Lizards I have found loose in my house? Thats right, 3. Goodbye lizards, I dont want anything to do with you. And while its really cool that our Lord and Savior bestowed you with this neat party trick where your tail comes off, its gross. Please stop. 2. The ice cream truck. It was so sweet at first, all the neighborhood kids crowding around the truck waiting to get their popsicles. Now, however, it causes my kids deep deep panic! Theyre so afraid theyre going to miss getting a multi-colored sour something-or-other that they run in our house practically in tears begging for a dollar! And it may or may not have caused one of my children (ahem..Luke Hudson Van Eps) to be stopped at the very end of our neighborhood by a POLICE OFFICER because he was frantically chasing that dumb truck. No more, I say, no more!
