Two weeks ago my dad called with the news that cousin Aaron Demuth was diagnosed with a rare form of pancreatic cancer (Stage 4) and bracing for the fight of his life. I called Aaron the next day we talked about finding the best doctors, staying positive, and never giving up. I told him that Vanna Shir and I would do anything we can to help Aaron, Lindsey Rhyne Demuth, and little Mason get through this challenge together. This week the battle officially began as Aaron started chemotherapy at Kaiser Walnut Creek. I know Aaron will prevail because he’s the biggest, strongest, and most positive member of the Demuth family. His spirit can’t be broken. To borrow a phrase from my friend John Greene, Aaron will kick cancer’s ass. Thank you to everyone for supporting Aaron and his family. Let’s saddle up and burn this thing down. gofundme/aarondemuth
