Two weeks ago, the winner of our grand prize, Ms Regina Lee, a regular patron of WATAMI, brought her three friends along for a free dining experience at Raffles Citys WATAMI! We certainly hope that this free dining experience would be a memorable experience for them, and we would love to serve them again soon at WATAMI! :) The store manager and staff joined them for a picture too! And here is a review by Ms Lee after her dining experience with us: We had the time of our lives on friday night (10/10/2014) with a Watami Feast at Raffles City Watami outlet. Though it was a busy friday evening, our dining experience was absolutely delightful. We were given the opportunity for a free-dining experience and this allowed us to savour other Watami dishes in the menu. The service crew displayed good professionalism in their line of duty. As always, it was a savory meal at Watami and that indeed entices us to come back to Watami in future for more! It was never a regret dining at Watami casual restaurant and we definitely look forward to future dining experiences at Watami Singapore. Last but not least, the winning entry by Ms Lee: “Dining at Watami has been a regular activity for the 4 of us, known as The Watami Goddesses in our whatsapp chatgroup. We made it a point to dine at a regular watami outlet every 3-4 months with the 4 of us being present. Sometimes, it is a monthly affair should schedule permits. Whenever the 4 of us dine together, it will definitely be Watami restaurant and nowhere else. Dining at Watami is not simply about eating the food that is being served and leave thereafter. For the 4 of us, this is the time for us to bond as The Watami gang and use our team-work to facilitate the best dining experience. With the spread of food on the table ( as shown in the photo), we need each of the 4 of us to mix the salad, to arrange the food neatly, to request for ice water, to cut okanomiyaki etc. It was a time of fun as it taught us that unity is strength and team-work makes the meal taste even greater. (We have the same type of smile during our dining experience at Watami.) The 4 of us do not have the time to cook and this dining opportunity makes us feel involved in preparing a meal. Therefore, different sorts of drama started during this process. There was space and the table was huge to support this stint. It was a time of comic-relief as we watch our friends mixing the salad clumpsily, spilling water on the table , cutting uneven portions of food. It was the time whereby we try out different watami dishes, set meals and many more, accompanied with sake/sochu. It was a period of serenity and happiness for the 4 of us. Delicious food with great company makes the dining experience Uniquely watami family. The watami crew at Raffles City Watami outlet has been really kind to the 4 of us thus far. We felt like a family. Though we were regular patrons, they treated us warmly and it felt like we were dining in our own home. The service provided was excellent. This coupled with presence of The Watami Goddesses generated the best watami dining experience for the 4 of us. We hoped that the crew enjoyed our presence too! ^.^ As Shakespeare said (From Twelve Night) : If Music be the food of love, play on.
