Two years and a 500 LE (less than $70) fine for the doctor who killed a thirteen year old girl while slicing her genitals. The girls father received a suspended 3 month sentence. This is considered progress. I realize its a historic decision as its the first time that someone has ever been convicted for this heinous crime but a 13 year olds life has been valued by the court as worth 2 years in prison and a fancy dinner.
