U.S. Forest Service job fair planned at Department of Labor Offices TODAY!!!! On Monday, December 8, 2014 between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. Forest Service representatives will be available to discuss job opportunities on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests at the Department of Labor Office in Moscow (1350 Troy Road, Suite 1). “Temporary employees have a very special place within the Forest Service,” shared Cheryl Probert, Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests Supervisor. “After all, most Forest Service career employees started out in temporary positions. Seeking a temporary or seasonal job with the Forest Service is a great way to learn about different opportunities so you can make the best match. Its also a great way to meet people within the organization and hone your skills so youll be well prepared for a permanent position, should you choose to pursue one.” Jobs available are predominantly seasonal, mainly during the summer. Opportunities include positions in fire management, recreation such as trail building or campground maintenance, biologist technicians in wildlife and fisheries, and as engineering technicians.
