U.S. MASTERS VECTOR ARTIST SUPER STRAT. STUNNING! 2001 USA HANDMADE This is still another excellent guitar left over from my 20 year “SSS” (Super Strat Search). During these past years, I bought one of just about every brand of “Strat” style guitar. And now I have a large stack of them, many, like this one only played once. Having spent a week going through these excellent guitars, I have settled on three “SSS” guitars that I feel are “as good as it gets” for playability and sound: 1. Tom Anderson. 2. Vigier. 3. Michael Tuttle. So now I’m moving a lot of the “tested” strats out. But being somewhat doleful about their loss, I’ve decided to offer them in trade for other guitars. U.S. MASTERS builds guitars here in the US and sells them directly to buyers. So that means, there prices are about 30% (if you pay MSRP) less than comparable guitars sold by dealers thanks to not having to pay the “haircut”, i.e., wholesale –vs- retail. These guys at US MASTERS really build great guitars. This is a beautiful and great playing guitar. U.S. MASTERS GUITAR WORKS makes incredible guitars. This one is from 2001 and shows true handmade quality and attention to detail (hands do the detail on custom handmade guitars while machines miss the details on the mass production pieces from large firms.) This is one of their very early guitars (SN: A218) and is considered to be from their “golden time” when they were able to spend more men than machine hours on building a guitar. Now the guitars they are building are still great but they have to use more machine hours than man hours just to keep up with demand. IT IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! Like a set neck, the neck and body resonates in phase as one unit.” NUT: 1-11/16 nut SCALE: 24-3/4 FRETBOARD: ROSEWOOD. Dot inlays. FRETS: JUMBO. 22. PICKUPS: 2 HUMBUCKERS. PAF style.
