UCC NATIONAL OPENS SEARCH FOR GENERAL MINISTER AND PRESIDENT The United Church of Christ is currently accepting applications for the position of General Minister and President. A search committee has been formed and is beginning the process of identifying persons whose gifts, skills, experience, and leadership abilities qualify them as desirable candidates for this important role in the life of our denomination. The General Minister and President is the Chief Executive Officer and spiritual leader of the church responsible for the visioning, planning, coordination and implementation of the total mission of the United Church of Christ. The General Minister and President facilitates and serves as the corporate President of the United Church of Christ, each of the Covenanted Ministries, the Common Services Corporation, and all other corporations related to the covenanted ministries.
