UPDATE: 10 July 2013 When you see on the news that Occupy Sydney has been evicted please be clear in your mind that Occupy Sydney are completely and utterly dedicated to maintaining this vital and unique service. a) We will not consent to The City of Sydney Homelessness Strategy of NOT providing adequate services so as to Starve the Homeless out of Sydney. b) We will NOT consent to the whims of Councillors who wilfully misinform themselves either to use homelessness as a surfboard ride to political stardom or as tokens to collect taxpayer or donor funds with. c) If Council Police or others take every resource we have we will rebuild--starting immediately. d) Occupy Sydney are now prioritising securing this vital 24-7 Homeless Hungry & Cold Peoples Resource and WILL NOT CONSENT to Government interference for as long as people need it. We thank all for their past and recent support and urge all to give their friends the opportunity to help our fellow community members.
