UPDATE ON DOG TIED TO A BENCH the staffy June Jeffrey Update. A lady on another group has been in touch with the RSPCA - made numerous phone calls and after being promised a call back for the 3rd day finally got one yesterday. She has posted this update: RSPCA just called me back the man who actually collected the dog from the park in Birmingham - to his knowledge the dog is still with the local dog warden - awaiting someone to verify his breed type. He was actually collected on Monday 16th so his 7 days in the pound are up today. Due to the injuries and swelling they have not been able to confirm all needed measurements to assess his breed type so this will be done when the swelling has gone down. I have asked the Dog warden involved to call me and will post more if and when he does, Another lady has asked if he is getting treatment for his injuries and mentioned getting money for him if needed. Someone else has said they have seen on another page that Birmingham City Council have him in kennels as a Section 1 Dog under the DDA.
