UPDATE: RESCUE IS COMPLETE! Thanks to all the great folks who helped out. Shout out to North Topsail Beach Police and Public Works. She had crawled all over the place and was so tired she would not move. We know how to move them! She was lifted onto a tarp, put in the back of a Public Works truck and driven over to the beach where the tarp was laid at the edge of the water. Hearing the ocean and smelling home poor mama gathered her energy and made it into the waves! Stick around and rest up for your next nest Momma Turtle. Topsail Islanders will do all we can to keep you safe! Thanks everyone who helped out! Pictures will be posted later. Now to the release!
