UPDATE: We are continuing to monitor our natural gas supplies - TopicsExpress

UPDATE: We are continuing to monitor our natural gas supplies following an early Saturday morning explosion that ruptured a TransCanada pipeline in Manitoba and potentially damaged two other pipelines, which were taken out of service to be examined. We want to thank our customers for the assistance they are providing by reducing the temperature in their homes. By doing so you have helped the system remain stable through the night and morning hours. We ask you to continue conserving natural gas until the situation is resolved. If you’d like to help please adjust your thermostat to 60 and avoid using natural gas appliances, but only do so if it will not pose a danger to your health or safety. Consider using electric space heaters. Use caution to avoid overloading circuits. As always, your safety is our number one concern. If you smell natural gas or think a natural gas leak may be possible, first vacate the premise immediately and then call 1-800-895-2999. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
