UPDATE from the peninsula of Turner Valley as of 4:30 pm Saturday, June 22nd: Decalta Bridge and Black Diamond Bridge will remain CLOSED for an extended period of time. Access to and from Turner Valley is limited to North at Three Point Creek Bridge on Highway 22 at Millarville. Extreme caution is advised as this area is flooded and may not be passable. Volker Stevin will direct motorists. Please note that water conservation order is in effect as well until further notice. Try to limit your water use - restricted laundry, dish-washing, bathing, no outside watering etc. Turner Valley and Black Diamond are also working together to secure a safe water supply from Turner Valley to our friends in Black Diamond by late Saturday June 22nd. Sheep River Library is CLOSED tomorrow, Sunday June 23rd. However, the Emergency Response Team are planning to still be there from 10:00 am on in case any information or assistance is required. Stay safe. Stay dry. And please keep away from the river as it is still extremely dangerous.
