URGENT - FOUND INJURED (POSSIBLY DECEASED) BLACK & WHITE CAT - HUMANE SERVICES TAG ID 3351 - CONTACT ST. JOHNS VET HOSPITAL ON FRESHWATER RD: URGENT: Black & White Cat hit on Crosstown Arterial near Freshwater Apartments. I didnt hit it, the car next to me did and kept going. I picked it up thinking it was dead but it was still alive. Was wearing a collar (cannot remember colour) with an orange St. Johns Humane Services tag 3351. I called twice to 311 but they said their system was down and so could not provide me with the owners information. They also could not reach Humane Services to help me with the cat. I was near St. Johns Vet Clinic and saw a car in the parking lot and so tried knocking on the door. The nicest vet tech came out and helped me and I called for the vet on call for emergency. By this time the cat was conscious, tongue severely lacerated and that is where all the blood was coming from. No bones seemed broken. Dr. Martin was going to come in to see the cat. When I left the cat was alive. This cat may be able to recover. We need to find the owner. PLEASE SHARE!!
