URGENT EMERGENCY Any cryonicists: Ive recently been contacted by a Facebook friend who is currently with his father in an ICU in Wisconsin. His father is on life support and his clinical death is very likely imminent, i.e., within the next 24 hours or less, perhaps even tonight. The son is interested in cryostasis for his father and believes sufficient funds can be raised if the family is willing, but no prior arrangements exist. He understands that at such a very late stage and with no preparation, a successful cryopreservation may be infeasible, but wants to discuss strategy with qualified people. I would appreciate if anyone with contacts in the Cryonics Institute, Alcor Life Extension Foundation, or Oregon Cryonics could assist in providing him with more detailed information than I am able to provide.
