URGENT REQUEST FOR HELP - SOS: Dear friends, at 5am this morning I was awoken by harsh knocks and shakes of my door. There was a fire in the apt above me and it was the fire dept, coming to make A GIANNT HOLE IN MY CEILING to make sure the fire hasnt spread to my apt too. They didnt move the rugs or any of my things. Everything is soaked, covered in plaster and scorched paint. Ive been sick all week, Ive barely left my bed, Ive barely been able to eat anything. The very thought of dealing with my landlord to fix this (whom, as you recall, had me without heating all winter and has yet to fix it), made me burst in tears in front of the fire fighters. I now have a giant mess in my kitchen and no strength whatsoever to handle it. My cough, which was worse enough, has worsened due to the smoke I inhaled, and I just cant handle any of this. I need some good souls to come today or tomorrow (Sunday/Monday) to please, please, help me clean this up. Im sorry to be asking but Im too sick to do it myself. Please PM me if you can come help.
