USD/JPY higher ahead of G-20 The U.S. dollar traded higher against the Japanese yen during Thursday’s Asian session ahead of the start of another meeting of Group of 20 finance ministers. In Asian trading Thursday, USD/JPY rose 0.21% to 99.79. The pair was likely to find support at 99.05, Monday’s low and resistance at 100.71, the high of July 2. While export-dependent countries ranging from Brazil to Germany to South Korea have been vocal in their disdain for the weak yen, the G-20 as a group has generally taken a cautious but approving tone to the sliding Japanese currency this year. ...
