UWC schools get the best students in the world. The best Universities even have full scholarships for UWC graduates God is my witness and even the world. For so long, I beg my people to apply to UWC schools and many Ugandans doubt it. Ask Stephen Masaba, Faith Kasirye and Martha Leah Nangalama how they managed. The UWC interviews in Uganda will happen this February 2015 in Kampala. You cannot complain if you do not apply. Our selection committee is not affiliated with the government. I am on that committee because it is based on alumni from UWC colleges. We have a strong team of 200+ graduates from these schools. Most are lawyers, doctors and bankers. You make a big mistake to walk away from this opportunity. No fees to apply. Full scholarships (airline ticket and pocket money). You have to be in S5 or S6 (or recent Alevels). The age limit is 16yrs to 21yrs old. Yes, UWC schools take kids as young as 16 and have them live together while they learn in a stringent system called IB - the International Baccalaureate administered out of Geneva. There are many other IB schools in the world and they are expensive but nothing like a UWC education. Some of you have asked me how come I have friends out of Uganda. Now you know - 200 kids together for 2 yrs makes you have 600 friends and more and from every country in the world. I went to UWC Pearson College with Toyin, Hector and many other people. We learn about peace, Social Justice and Human Rights. Some of our school mates are key policy makers around the world and some aer bankers who will determine what a country can borrow. Do you now want to be in such a group? After UWC, most of us attended excellent universities in the world on full scholarships -- think about this.
