Ultimate value is not determined by factors within your immediate control. Do not assume that you can judge your own value or the value of others because value exists in multiples, fluctuating and inexact. It cannot be trapped under the pencil or tapped into a calculator, it is not summed by an image or a number or a word. Instead, its sum can only be guessed at, tapped out by the steady binary drumming of fingers on skin, or the vibration of vocal cords straining, or the sweep of eyes across curves and shadows. It is omnipresent, and because of this it exists outside of our control, no matter how hard we may try to determine its exact symbolic presence. What Im trying to say is that you are not the you that others see. You are not the you that you see in the mirror. You are not past you or future you or facebook you or instagram you, so stop trying to guess and compare and deliberate because you could be invaluable to one and expendable to another. Never allow others to control your value, and never assign any one value to yourself, no matter how tangible it may seem. Do not cripple yourself by assuming that you are not a constantly growing thing, untouchable and completely whole.
