Under a gauzy pink sky, early in the morning, the parrots hold their morning races; coconut tree to mango tree. And back. A raptor flies with unbeating wings:as elegant as the pigeon is not, in flight. The crows preen and the koels call - short and long coughs, a whole conversation without being seen. And now, the rich sounds of the morning settle, fade. The song comes back on. Feet move. Eyes glaze. Another day, work, work, work....
