Undiagnosed – A Poem in defence of Autism Illumination spent for so many years unidentified for the masses of chronological behavioural decree, one of circumstance for alienation struck into the heart of one No voice recognised for ears of deafened collectives herd mentalists and the ignorant spilling forth vitriol of indifference for the existence for this soul of the real These fingers upon tender most hands wanting to wipe away tears of the suffering yet in a language so foreign to the commonality I was feared upon as the objectivity of hate That one be subjected to accusation of a disease liken witch hunt paranoia unfathomed for my intelligence that I feel, I taste, I know, I am, I am real If you could cry the tears of stars like me I could speak the voice of all I am for I comprehend beyond the mirror the river of reflection flowing within me So much more than the diagnosis of psychiatrists’ manual and doctorate degree truth unspoken that my soul is all they fear I am within no box of perspective wonderment External of their teachings we have words to say the muscle of our intellect is that unwritten new bible be written for the greatest evolutionary story so far yet only until now, remains undiscovered.
