Unfortunately our family has recently been impacted heavily by the loss of my mother as well as some very close and amazing people to cancer. It is frustrating, shocking and something I do not wish for anyone to have to go through. Ever. If there is an upside, it brings out the best in people. People fight like you wouldnt believe and achieve the most amazing things when they are against the odds. My brothers, father and friends are banding together to do this ride to help continue the fight. Whilst I would love a cure to be found in the next few years, I am realistic. I expect this money to support research into treatments and awareness, in the hope that if only one person doesnt have to be lost then it is well worth it. We are riding for 200km across two days raising money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. I ask that you please contribute to this fundraising effort with a donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support Peter Mac, the only public hospital in Australia solely dedicated to cancer.
