Update: Bob is doing better and has even walked short distances without using the walker....he still tires easily but that will improve with more activity...we also found out that those nasty bacterial infections are GONE!!!....The byproduct of all the IV antibiotics he was on has left him with candida yeast so he has to be on IV diflucan for 2 weeks......he still has the abdominal drain but we hope it will be removed when we see the surgeon in a couple of weeks.....we did get clarification on the cancer stage....he is stage 1b.....that is good news but we still need to meet with his oncologist for treatment options.....so, all in all, were making progress and are praying that we will not encounter any serious setbacks going forward......thanks again to everyone for your prayers, love and support....
