Update! Little Hands of Hope has received a donation for 300 mosquito nets and also a donation to put toward buying some land in or near Nyendo, Uganda which will be the site of Little Hands of Hope Childrens Home for the kids who live on the streets of Nyendo. Although we may not be able to build a shelter right away, gardens can be planted on the land that is purchased to grow food for our kids who live on the streets and they can even work in the gardens and help make this happen. This is the first step toward becoming self sufficient. I am returning to Uganda the end of March and we will begin to look at some land possibilities. Thank you, Jesus. This is such wonderful news for the future of our children. However, in the moment that we are now in, we are very much in need of funds to be able to keep on feeding all of our 350 kids everyday. We currently have enough funds to feed our children for the next 3 weeks, but then after that we are out of funds for food for our kids. If you can, would you please consider giving a one time donation or becoming a monthly sponsor of our feeding programs for our kids? A donation can be given right here on our gofundme page. As you have heard me say before - for many of our kids the food that Little Hands of Hope provides for them through your donations is the only food they ever get to eat. I have seen with my own eyes how even just one cup of porridge brings renewed hope into a childs eyes. When they eat the food they begin to realize that someone really does love them and that God has not forgotten them or abandoned them.
