Update: Scott appeared before Judge Ray Bunch at 1:30 PM. The prosecutor for Benton County offered Scott the deal that if he agreed NOT to appeal his convictions that they would lower the Damage/Restitution amount owed to the City of Bentonville from $25,000.00 to $2,500.00. Can you believe it? Its just like his last court appearance. The prosecutor offered to drop the drunk driving charges (really protecting the citizens of Bentonvilles safety) if Scott plead guilty to the Battery charges (beating the police officers, not the other way around). Today, the paperwork at the courthouse was not completed correctly and Scott has to go back again February 27th before he can even think about an appeal or a jury trial.
