Update on Cameron: Camerons case is being reviewed by Mayo and University of Iowa hospitals. We have had a rough few days filled with constant seizures, high fevers and Cameron having a severely altered mental state. Here are some new things we have learned. There are indications that Cameron suffered a small stroke. He also has white matter in the frontal lobe of his brain. The swelling in the left side and front of his brain is pretty bad. We are going to both hospitals for tests and examinations this week. The prognoses Cameron was given isnt the best but I truly believe that with the right drs and treatment he can beat these odds. At this point in time we are taking things day by day. I pray that the drs can find answers, set up a treatment plan and that my little guy can get back to his old self soon. He needs round the clock care and supervision. I am trying to balance Camerons needs, the other kiddos and taking care of everything else. I want to thank everyone who has prayed, sent cards or gifts, helped out with my other kids in any way, sent meals and food down to Kathys and has offered emotional support. I also am very grateful for all the offers of future help as my family deals with this situation. I am amazed at the kindness of family, friends and community.
