Update on Sydney - the poor girl has really had a rough couple of days. We stopped counting the number of blowouts! OMG, I cant begin to describe how foul it smells! Francos dad thought I had used on organic fertilizer on the yard or had spread fresh mulch in the flower beds outside...when he realized it was Sydney he was shocked that something so rank could come out of something so cute! :) Needless to say we got zero sleep...she just cried and screamed throughout the night. We tried everything I could find on the internet for babies with upset stomachs (rubbing her tummy, a warm bath). She just sobbed and cried big tears and then would suck on duck (her pacifier) through her sobs. Duck has literally been the only thing that has brought her any comfort. Her little bottom is so red and painful...we dont even attempt to wipe her, we just use the handheld sprayer in the bathtub (something we learned from daycare!) Unfortunately, even that makes her cry! Weve all been there, nothing worse than a stomach virus! Its just so hard to watch your child be in such misery and not be able to do something about it. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for her and tonight we can all get some sleep.
