Update time for those who helped me with eating places.... Been here on the island for 2 full days, after missing the heysham ferry by 4 minutes... Bloody hertz rentacar & roadworks..... Ended up going to Liverpool and a force 5 crossing... Not the worst weve experienced... Had the biggest smile on my face driving round the course , shouting out the names and boring the wife and kid senseless.... I knew the riders were good and I can ride fast on the twisties, but holy crap, I now have a much greater admiration for the bravery and skill of the riders, 150 plus mph on some of these roads is just amazing, especially seeing the ruts and bumps and how narrow some of the roads are.... Cant wait to actually see the racing... Unfortunately were back on tomorrow mornings ferry, worse after finding the southern 100 starts on Monday... Grrr... Oh, and food wise, went to Ramsey trawlerman chippy for whale and chips, as it was peering down all day yesterday... Bloody delicious...
