He was unable to start treatment in Wichita Falls yesterday and is now going to be sent to MD Anderson in Houston. His cancer is extremely rare and there is need for proton therapy along with the radiation. There are many dangers with this treatment, but his physicians here think that MD Anderson is the best bet. There is even more need now for funds to help support his family and their expenses, especially since they will be in Houston for at least 6 weeks. If you have specific questions about how the funds will be used, please PM me and I will explain in detail. If you have concerns, about funds, I urge you to contact me direclty and leave them off the Prayers for Ryland page....some comments are NOT helpful to this young man. A HUGE thank you to those of you who have already reached out to help! Hugs and prayers are out to you! We are also looking into a Benefit and will have more information as it becomes available.
