Some say to save her Senate seat in Louisiana Mary Landrieu may be cheering for Republicans to retake the senate Her vote for the Affordable Care Act -- ObamaCare -- which is not popular in Louisiana. In fact, polls show that almost 54 percent of Louisianans say they are less likely to vote for Landrieu because of the vote on Obamacare. In 2013, she called on Obama to make good on his promise that people could keep their current health insurance. More than 60,000 people in Louisiana had their policies canceled. But even the bill she introduced allowing people to keep their current plans, Mary Landrieu Keeping Obamacare, hasnt changed what they think about re-electing her in 2014. Baton Rouge pollster Pinsonat says data shows the Affordable Care Act is going to decide Landrieus re-election. Shes polling at around 40%, She is most likely to lose the next election. Mary Landrieu has tremendous name brand Her family has forged the Landrieu family name. Moon Landrieu was mayor of New Orleans in the 70s. Outside groups have been making many ads about Mary Landrieu and Obamacare, and unfortunately she said she would vote for ir again. That could be a fatal mistake. It expands coverage and increases choice and competition for thousands of Louisianians. Most importantly, this law makes private health insurance more affordable and accessible without including a government-run option.
