Upon waking up just now to discover that the group Gay Men Over 40...and the People who love them has overnight been removed from facebook completely (!!!) this is what I reported: [Good morning. I am the main admin for Gay Men Over 40...and the People who love them. I woke up this morning to discover that the page has been inexplicably removed. I received word from facebook that the page was removed for violating standards. This makes no sense to me, to my co-admins, or to members who have been contacting me. None of us are aware of what constitutes this violation of standards. The admins made great efforts to uphold moral and ethical standards inside the group. Gay Men Over 40... is a very unique group in facebook and many in the group have been thankful for its presence - as it has become a valuable bridge between all branches of LGBT as well as straight allies. This action on the part of facebook, without convincing or satisfying explanation, is merely bizarre. I would like to request that the group be returned and that clear evidence be shown as to why this nonsensical action occurred in the first place. Admins and members are in complete agreement that there has been no wrong-doing or violation of standards. Quite the opposite - we have done our best to maintain the highest of standards in GMO40. Thank you.]
