Using those on the DTES to promote his pro-hunting agenda is - TopicsExpress

Using those on the DTES to promote his pro-hunting agenda is disgraceful. David Booth’s contract with the Vancouver Canucks earns him over 4 million a year. If he is truly moved by poverty, why not give people the dignity and resources to make their own food choices? Booth could easily invest in community gardens and fruit trees that can last for years. As for hunters claiming that wild game is “organic”, that’s overstating things. BC hunters have no clue what these wild animals were eating or what exposure they may have had to pesticides. Maybe that’s why it’s illegal in Ontario to give wild game to food banks.
