VACANCY-Farm Manager LOCATION-Tanzania (Africa * Responsible to manage the day to day activities of the farm including handling the team of all direct and indirect labour utilized on the farm. * Maintaining farm infrastructure (tractor, farm equipment & implements, electricity, water pumps, DG sets etc.) * Manage the smooth functioning of the firm in consultation with GM. * Graduation or Diploma in agriculture with 8-10 years experience in a large commercial farm with the last few years in a supervisory position. * Good computer knowledge or communication skills. Excellent knowledge of commercial farming. Agronomist * Responsible to advice the farm manager on the cultivation and rotation of various crops after study of the soil and other conditions, plan the ploughing and sowing, deal with tha plant growth, deal with the plant disease and monitor the crop yields. Report to the General Manager. * Excellent knowledge of nurseries, infectious plant diseases, crop outputs & ylelds. * B.Sc in agriculture with 8-10 years experience in similar role in a commercial farm.
