Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualifications : National diploma/degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering and/or equivalent. Experience: 2 – 3 years experience in the provision and support of ICT solutions, specifically within the Networking and Unified Communications environments. Technical Competencies Description Knowledge of: Computer and network principles; Router, switch and network topology; Internet protocols, services and standards; SLA reporting; Networking knowledge and experience; WAN operational, support and maintenance knowledge and experience. Understanding of : Network Management ; VPN technologies and concepts; Modems; Carrier technology; LAN Principles; Cabling Principles; Network Operating Systems; Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS). Other Special Requirements Willingness to work within a structured delivery environment and in accordance with best practices and standards; Willingness to travel.
