Vacancy Announcement CWISH is a not for profit Human Rights Organization working in the field of children, youth and women. CWISH has been implementing rights based programs to empower target group for reclaiming rights and to enable stakeholders for delivering accountability. In this regard, CWISH is implementing a project in six VDCs of Ramechhap to promote community initiative in improving the quality of education, fictionalization of the community based mechanism for maintaining quality of education and better delivery of the services by the service providers in partnership with Embassy of Finland. CWISH has called vacancy for the following positions to successfully implement the project. Interested candidates are requested to submit their CV with cover letter mentioning expected salary by 25 of June 2013 in following address: Chairperson CWISH Buddhanagar, Kathmandu Nepal E-mail: vacancycwish@gmail Position 1: District Project Coordinator -1 District project coordinator is responsible for overall management of the project form the district level, coordinate with all the government agencies and linking government plan and policies in the local level with the project activities. Additionally the officer is also responsible for monitoring and documentation of the project achievement. The specific responsibilities are as: 1. Represent CWISH in the district together with Team Leader and concerned thematic coordinators on CWISH 2. Planning, supervision and monitoring of all the field level interventions. 3. Implement all the district level interventions in coordination and cooperation with the district level Government agencies. 4. Perform managerial role for the project in the district. 5. Help the field level staffs for preparation of weekly and monthly plan, their implementation, follow up with the plan and review the achievement at the end of the week or month. 6. Conduct and coordinate district level trainings and meetings. 7. Recommend for the necessary changes and revision for the planned activities in accordance with the community environment. 8. Effective communication in the district on the behalf of the project. 9. Make periodic visit to CWISH for programmatic and financial reporting. Required Qualifications: 1. Bachelors Degree in Education/Sociology/Social Work/Development Studies or relevant area. 2. Minimum three years of experience working in the field of community development; field related to educational development will be preferred. 3. Good communication skill 4. Knowledge of legal, policy and programmatic provisions of the government for educational development. 5. Computer skill and good Nepali typing skill. 6. Good writing skill in Nepali; English language will be an additional benefit. Duty Station: Ramechhap Position 2: Accountant Accountant is responsible for maintaining record of all the programmatic and administrative expenses for maintain the financial health of the project in compliance with the administrative and finance policy of CWISH. In particular accountant is responsible for: 1. Keeping record of all the programmatic and administrative expenses and income of the project in the district. 2. Maintaining store record. 3. Keeping administrative record of the project staffs. 4. Submit monthly and report to CWISH about the financial and administrative status of the project. 5. Help during the financial audit and respond to the audit report. Required qualification: 1. At least +2 graduate with account as major bachelor degree will be additional benefit 2. At least two years of experience in the related field 3. Knowledge of computer, skill of account packages/ software will be an additional benefit Duty Station: Ramechhap Position 3: Social Mobilizer-3 Social mobilizers are responsible for carrying out all the field level activities, follow them up for ensuring their sustainable result and motivating the community to act proactively for the educational and over all development of their community. Specific responsibilities are: 1. Implement all the field level activities in supervision of the district project officer 2. Follow up of the project activities and their outcomes. 3. Coordinate and cooperate with all the community level groups and structures and link them up with the VDC and their programs. 4. Conduct community level trainings and meetings. 5. Report all the field level achievement to the district project officer. 6. Represent CWISH in the community level Qualification: 1. Knowledge and skill of community mobilization, at least three years of working experience in the related field 2. Good communication skill 3. Intermediate in Education or Arts 4.
