Vacation care services to close tomorrow. Five vacation care services and a children’s centre in the Adelaide Hills will be closed tomorrow, Monday 5 January, in light of the ongoing fire activity in the area. Vacation and child care services at the following DECD sites will be closed on Monday: •Birdwood Primary School •Gumeracha Primary School •Lobethal Primary School •Tea Tree Gully Primary School •Woodside Primary School •Torrens Valley Children’s Centre Department for Education and Child Development Deputy Chief Executive Julieann Riedstra said parents who use the service were being contacted and advised about the closures. “We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we want to take every precaution to keep children and staff safe.” Further advice will be issued tomorrow afternoon about the availability of services on Tuesday.
