Venice and her twin sister Toni and I were dance majors together in high school - sadly Toni passed in 2011 of acute myelogenous leukemia a month after her diagnosis - help Venice raise money and run for Leukemia research. Venice; Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team. As many of you know, I lost my identical twin sister Toni to in 2011. She was a relatively health person, she lost her battle only one month after diagnosis. She was ripped out of our lives before many of her family & friends knew she was in the hospital. She left behind her one year old daughter(Now 3), her loving husband, her family and me. Its difficult to lose a sibling, but a twin never imagines life without their twin. The healing process has been an emotional journey where I have learned so much about myself and about life. I began running for health but I found it has helped heal my broken heart. I am now ready to use all that running for a great cause. She is running and fundraising for Leukemia research.
