Very cute film, but then it was a Shirley Temple picture. That said, I didnt expect the sad aspects of the story -- definitely a tearful moment or two. Like films of this type, though, it ended much too perfectly. Real life is not that happy and neat, and children are never that well respected or cherished. Still ... loved the ending! If only karma worked so quickly and the good guys could wind up so happy. :) (Watched on TCM @ 8PM EST -- I simply prefer to check-in afterwards.)
