Very good day for NZ at the GJC Event in Noumea. All 4 NZ teams have made it into post-pool play, albeit as runners-up in their pools. (3 boys and 1 girls team). The only miss was for Carolyn Zou, who paired with Solenn Danger from New Caledonia in Junior Girls. Overall it was a great reward for the tireless efforts of coaches Brian Barker and Tim Seaholme. There are 17 competing nations at the event and the play of some from Korea, Taipei and France, to name but a few, has been of a very high standard. Team spirit remains high as the knock-out matches await. ittf/competitions/competitions2.asp?Competition_ID=2238&category=WJC
