Very soon people are going to argue in court that access to social media by someone against whom they are in dispute has disadvantaged them. It happened with Vavi going to Twitter to announce the withdrawal of charges by a female complainant (when Chair of the Discliplinary Panel should have). And now instead of giving a balanced picture of what happened at City Press (allow internal processes) to unfold, Ferial Haffajee has bombarded the social media with her version of event in question - in a condescending manner I might add. Why seek to galvanise public opinion against the journalist when you could quietly use internal disciplinary mechanisms to disclipline them - assuming Ferials version to be true. Like in the Vavi case, always suspicious of people who appeal to the public when there are fairer process for all parties involved
