Very thankful to the support of people for making our 1st task - TopicsExpress

Very thankful to the support of people for making our 1st task successful (repacking of 1 wk supply of food items for a family of 5= 4000 packs): 1) Julie Itaas - for linking us to Atty. Ian who enable us to mobilize the students at UP Cebu and use the space for 1 wk for the storage/repacking site; link us to various suppliers because goods ran out in Cebu City (though supplies availability remains a challenge last wk and partly this wk); link us to possible people who can help us to ship the goods. 2) The UP Cebu students led by the student council who packed and accounted the 1st 1000 packs very systematically that I do not need to supervise them and the guards who offered free service to secure all the goods at the open social hall (they were not paid with overtime). 3) The Parish Priest of Sacred Heart of Jesus @ Jakosalem St..Without so much explanation from my end, he automatically said yes to my request to use their secured space and even w/o requesting him to do so, announced during his mass that we need people to repack. 4) The parishioners, staff and guards of Sacred Heart Church, my nieces and nephew, staff of Convergys led by one of their colleagues who I just met at UP once - this group of people allowed us to repack the 2nd 1000 family food packs in just half day yesterday! 5) The owner of Rose Pharmacy which allowed us to use their space and offer people to repack the 2000 packs for Bantayan Island. 6) My sister Jocelynwho brings me lunch every day because she knows I will continue working forgetting my lunch. All these support makes the task much easier. What remains difficult is completing the goods and shipping it out so that the goods will reach the hungry people fast :-( THANKS TO ALL!!! Next task is preparing the non-food items.
