Veteran Cameroonian journalist Francis Wache is now in politics. He is now Mayor of Nkor in Bui Division in the North West Region of the Country It was a huge experience travelling through the rugged and hilly roads to meet Mayor Francis Wache in Nkor to donate books to his Council offered by The Fomunyoh Foundation. For him to have taken that option to go home and serve his people at the expense of his comfort in Buea is an enormous sacrifice, no lights, no internet. And from all indications the people are happy with what he has done in slightly above one year in office, pole are in place for electricity, a proper town hall and council office is near completion.... He says he is ready to accept anything to support what he terms his “embryotic” Council Moreover he has not been in good health of late and he says he missed death by “an hour”.
