Via--Steve Sarich-to- Chris....this was all about what LAW ENFORCEMENT wanted! This wasnt really even a money issue. Law enforcement has been trying to get rid of medical for seventeen years. We will not convert Rivers, Kohl-Welles or Cody. We HAVE TO convert as many others as possible so they dont have enough support to get any bad legislation passed. Thats our only hope to win next year! What we DONT need next year is the Kari Boiters and the Ezra Eickmeyers lobbying against the will of the patients. I suspect that Boiter will try to set up some ASA chapters this year so that the ASA doesnt have to continue to lie about representing patients in Washington. We know she took lobbying money that hasnt shown up on her PDC filing. If she doesnt report it, and who gave it to her, Im pretty sure that someone will file yet another PDC complaint against her. The CAC will continue to out everyone that lobbies against the will of the patients while collecting money to save medical....which both Ezra and Kari did this year. We will out everyone that supports a patient registry. I am sick and tired of these people who call for unity and then do everything they can to divide the community. That smoking tent stunt hurt us badly this year in the eyes of the legislature. That was the work of TK Canna, Jeremy & Kitty Miller, and Seattle Hempfest....the same people who supported Kari Boiter. You dont think THAT divided the community....for no good reason? Did you notice that NONE of those people were to be found when it came time to stop 5887?
