Via the Daily Iowegian: Terry Branstad said Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks for Congress is honest, intelligent with integrity and puts people first. For a lady with her stature, Branstad said as a majority in the audience laughed at the inside joke. Shes not tall but shes mighty. Branstad said 70 percent in the United States feel the country is going in the wrong direction. Weve got to have a new direction and the way to do it is to elect Miller-Meeks to the House of Representatives, Branstad said. Miller-Meeks knows how to get things done and has proven ability instead of sending someone who is part of the problem.
