Vitamin D controls the expression of over 1,000 genes. That is - TopicsExpress

Vitamin D controls the expression of over 1,000 genes. That is around 1/24th of the human genome. 70% percent of people do not meet the requirements for adequate vitamin D, but what does that mean? Reduced brain oxytocin, increased aging, impaired executive function, early death, impulsive behavior, immune dysfunction, increased inflammation, brain dysfunction, increased cancer risk, reduced brain serotonin, reduced T regulatory cells, weak possibly deformed bones, learning impairments, increased depression, it also means... increased DNA damage and acceleration of telomere shortening, the latter of which can be equivalent to as much as five years of biological aging. @foundmyfitness Dr. Rhonda Patrick #foundmyfitness #vitaminD #health #vitality #wellness #nutrition #awareness #knowledgeispower #yogi #yogadude #yogawithryan #yogainspiration #yogaeverydamnday
